Northside Music act, Cynthia Morgan has tentatively announced that her anticipated debut album will be released in two months’ time.
Successful singles such as ‘Lead Me On’, ‘Don’t Break My Heart’, ‘German Juice’, ‘Baby Mama’ and more recently, ‘Olowo’ have put the dancehall singer in good stead for her first full album project.
Speaking in a chat with HF TV’s Zinna, the Edo-native revealed she is putting finishing touches to the yet-to-be-titled album.
‘Well, I’m working on my album presently and it’s gonna be out in two months time,’she said. ‘It’s almost finalised, I record every time and every time I record I’m like this should make the album and then there’s a problem.
‘So I can’t tell, but I’m wrapping up the album, then I just launched my foundation… there’s a lot of stuff coming up,’ she further said.
On what is to be expected from the project, Cynthia said her plan is to have a 25-track album as she looks to strike a connection with her fans.
‘Looking back at what I’ve been putting out as an artiste, I think I’ve tried for myself, and then I’ve proved myself to an extent for people to trust and believe. I’m gonna do my part, I’m working hard to make sure my fans feel the album, and then I wanna be closer to my fans,’ she said.
‘Let tell you I’m gonna be dropping like 25 songs on my album, it’s something new, something that’s never happened in Africa.
‘Because I wanna be closer to my fans, I wanna be able to relate, I wanna be able to talk to them in different ways what they’re going through in their lives, what I’ve been through… Most times I write about experience and stuff like that. So, just trust me’.
