The 16th annual BET Awards held last night Sunday June 26, 2016 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The award show which honors artists, actors and athletes across 20 categories, also featured tributes to Prince by a slew of artists, including Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder, and a surprise performance by Beyonce andKendrick Lamar.

Also, Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams was given the Humanitarian Award, delivering a passionate Black Lives Matter speech, while Samuel L. Jackson received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
