Wizkid performed to thousands of excited fans at his concert held at Irving Plaza, NYC last night July 27, 2014 but thrilled them even more when he brought on stage some of US’ biggest acts – Akon and rapper Wale. Hours before the show started, the Nigerian Pop star had teased about bringing on a surprised act and ended up introducing the Senegalese-born singer and US-born Nigerian rapper who performed songs like ‘I want to love you‘ and ‘Clapppers‘ respectively. Just before the show kicked off, Wizzy posted a picture of himself, Wale, Akon and brother Bu backstage at the concert. He later posted videos of Akon and Wale performing.
