Drake Wins mtvU's "Woodie Of The Year"

Beyonce, A$AP Rocky and Chance The Rapper are also among this year's winners.

Drake won Woodie of the Year during the mtvU Woodie Awards which took place yesterday (March 14), according to MTV.
In 2013, Drake released Nothing Was The Same, his most recent full-length studio album. The work features "Tuscan Leather," "Worst Behavior," "The Language" and "Wu-Tang Forever," selections that helped Drake reach platinum certification with this release.
"Expanding his subject matter next time around would be a smart move, before it gets stale," HipHopDX said in its review of the album. "But Nothing Was The Same showcases new skills—trimming the unnecessary songs, and focusing on narrative details the way he does on 'From Time'—that will strengthen Drake’s arsenal and help him continue to cement his status as a Pop-Rap heavyweight for years to come."
